  17. QUESTION:  I am just a bit too embarrassed to ask this question of anyone even
  18. my own doctor.  Unfortunately, it has happened to me more than once, and I
  19. know it has others with the same painful experience.  Can you tell me what to
  20. do when my penis gets caught in the zipper?  Please don't ignore this
  21. question, your answer may be useful to hundreds of men.

  25. ANSWER:  Here is a case where prevention is truly the best medicine.  However,
  26. it does happen, and I do believe the answer may be of interest to many.  The
  27. first bit of advice is to consider this an emergency.  While not fatal, it is
  28. probably best attended to by someone who can take all the precautions
  29. necessary.  It likely won't require any major surgery, but a bit of anesthetic
  30. cream, perhaps a sedative can make the rest of the procedure much easier to
  31. endure.  Once your member is numb, the zipper is eased down, a millimeter or
  32. two at a time, until all the sensitive skin is free.  The wound may require
  33. dressing, or another application of anesthetic ointment.  Cold applications to
  34. the area for the first 12 hours following the accident will prevent swelling
  35. and help relieve the discomfort.
